And what is the winter wardrobe you ask? Exactly what Bre and I are wearing here. Sweaters, denim, beanies, and over the knee boots. (These outfits weren’t planned by the two of us this is just what we individually each decided to wear haha!) This explains my point exactly. What I love about these looks is that no matter where you are going or what your personal style is – it works. The boots do give it a little more of a dressy feel so you could get away with wearing it out to the city, yet the denim and sweater combo is so cozy, it is still a casual outfit at the same time!

To dive into my exact look here, a sweater trend that I have been loving is the waffle knit! I also have this sweater in red and both of these have been my go to sweaters the past couple of weeks. They also have this darling balloon sleeve detail which I also love on sweaters lately too! On another ‘waffle knit sweater’ note, I found these Free People dupe sweaters recently that are too cute not to snag. They come in two colors here and here. The FP versions were all over social media…until these were found that is. I personally feel like these have taken over because they are half the price and especially now that we are all hoping for Spring to come we don’t want to be splurging on too many more winter pieces.

The denim that I am wearing here was actually referred to me by this doll being photographed with me (Bre!! Go follow her if you aren’t already you will just love her!) She found these denim and I actually tried hers on one day while we were out shooting together and HAD to have a pair. The best part about them is the high waist and the PRICE! Something to keep in mind when ordering is the sizing, they run super small and only come in even numbered sizes. I’m usually a 25-26 depending on the brand of denim and in these I got size 28! My only wish is that I would have chose the longer length for my legs. I chose the standard length and for my 5’7″ self they just run a tad bit short but I still love them regardless.

Now onto my boots. I had been eyeing this bad boys FOREVER but have never even peeped a word about them because I knew the were definitely not in my near future…but I was wrong all thanks to my husband who got them for me in November for my birthday! He knew I had been looking for OTK boots as I’d been looking through the Nordstrom sale at the time trying to find some on sale. I know it will be a long time til my next Stuart purchase, but I will say I totally get the hype now that I own them. They are comfy and oh so flattering! I wear mine ALL THE TIME and know I will for years to come because they are a boot that is in style every single year and the style never goes away or changes. Now, I know they are a huge splurge so I have been trying to find similar ones for you guys! This camel color is really hard to find for some reason but it’s the cutest color in my opinion! One of my fabulous followers helped me out and found this pair that is super cute and similar! I have ordered from here once and the shipping did take a little but I was really happy with all my pieces so it’s definitely worth it! (Make sure to check their site for discount codes because they randomly do sales!!)

The New Year is officially here TOMORROW! I have been working on setting goals and resolutions for this upcoming year, (yes I am totally one of those people), and I am also trying my best to outline and plan out my content!
