Our Galentine’s Day Brunch

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! I know it’s about a week past Valentine’s Day now, but I just had to write up this post and share with you the Galentine’s Day brunch that myself and my favorite ladies attended the weekend before! This event was simply perfection and I am going to list all the vendors that made it possible for any of you who may be getting married, having a baby, throwing a big party, etc. because all of these companies are definitely worth checking out to use for your event. (I wish I would have known about some of these before getting married because I totally would have used them!!)

A huge thank you to Emily from Emily Elizabeth Events for hosting and putting this whole brunch together! Her eye and visions are amazing and you can tell she poured her heart into making it all come to life! The theme of our brunch was “Girl Gang Gathering” and you can see the theme throughout all of the details.

This was my favorite ‘blogger’ event I have ever attended. Not only was everything absolutely gorgeous, but they also had actual ‘activities’ for us to do like make our own bouquets and paper valentines. Scroll down to see some of my favorite images from our day, all taken by Blue Rose Pictures.

The Venue

This event was held at Ollie Quinn, a new glasses store in Capitol Hill through a site called Peerspace. I had never hear of Peerspace but it is an amazing resource you guys gotta look into. Basically it’s an AirBnb for events. You can rent out unique spaces for parties, photoshoots, etc. So happy I know about this now!

The Table

You guys, this table setting seriously felt like I was at a wedding – it was gorgeous! Emily did such a beautiful job handpicking all the vendors for the decor and making everything flow so perfectly. Some of the vendors used are Hostess Haven, Balancing Balloon Rentals, While They Nap Bakeshop, & CORT Party Rentals.

The Invites & Valentine’s Day Cards

Towards the end of the brunch, we all got to sit down and make cards for our Valentine’s! This was so fun and special for me because everything was from Paper Delights who did my own save the dates and wedding invites ❤

The Eats

Everything food-wise was provided by Lisa Dupar Catering. Everything was delicious and the presentation was perfect!

The Goodies

We each got these fun boxes full of the cutest things.

Candle: Damselfly | Granola & Coffe: Red Twig Cafe | Macaroons: Lady Yum | Jewelry: Girlscrew

The Floral

I think my favorite part of the entire event was making our own floral arrangements. Emily showed us her tricks on how to make a bouquet and the floral they brought felt like it belonged at a wedding! I loved keeping mine in my kitchen – it was beautiful! We all wrapped them with burlap coffee sacks and beautiful ribbon from Silk & Willow.

My Look

Usually I would be the first girl to pull out my pink and red for this event since those are some of my favorite colors to wear anyways. BUT, I did stumble across this top and thought it was too cute not to style for this brunch. I did go a little tad bit more edgy than usual, but it was so fun to dress for this occasion!

Top | Skirt | Booties | Glasses | Layered Necklaces

Overall, this day was perfect. A huge thank you to all these amazing vendors and to Emily for spoiling us girls and giving us a dream brunch. You guys gotta click on the vendors that I tagged above and check out their Instagram accounts – I know you will be using these in the future!

All my love!

Xx,
