My Look: Dress | Top | Similar Booties
Bre’s Look: Top | Denim | Booties
Photos x Sarah Wolfe
I am FINALLY bringing this look to the blog! I am a little behind on outfit posts but very excited to be sharing this overall dress with you guys today. And a post with pizza? How could it get any better?!
This dress was a top spring-find for me this year and there are also other colors that I will link in the carousel at the bottom of this post. I am still loving the ‘overall’ style, whether its a dress, romper or pants. I just feel like the detailing is such a fun spin on a simple look since you are usually wearing a basic tee or top underneath.
I took these photos with some of my absolute FAVE girls to work with, Sarah and Bre. If you guys don’t follow them on Instagram – do it now!!! They are so talented and genuine, I know you will love them! We took these at Sizzle Pie, a pizzeria in Capitol Hill! Nice big slices, just how I like haha 🙂
If you are following along on my Instagram Stories, you may have seen that this week I started a woman’s Bible study group for the first time ever! I couldn’t be more excited to be in this group with other women from our community that I already know well, and some amazing new women too. The sense of community is what excites me most, but I must say our book and topic are a close second. We are reading Nothing To Prove by Jennie Allan and I have already fallen in love with her as an author and woman.
This book is all about how you have nothing to prove to yourself, to others, or to God. He’s already done it for us and we don’t need to worry about ‘measuring up’ to this invisible standard that we have created. I am looking forward to diving into this and letting go of that pressure and mindset. We also have a study book we are doing called Proven. You can do either or, you don’t need to do both! If reading an entire book isn’t your thing, you can just purchase the study book and really dive into that, or if you aren’t a ‘homework’ fan and just want to read, simply purchase the book! I would LOVE for some of you to take this on with me! I can already tell this read is going to be life changing.
Make sure to let me know if you end up buying it or reading it! (There is also an audible version on iBooks, the app on your phone, if listening to it is more your style!!) If you end up posting on FB, Instagram, or your stories, make sure to tag me because I would love to see who’s also doing this and connect!
I felt so compelled to share this with you guys because I do feel like this is something that everyone can relate to. ❤
Anyways, hope you guys are having an amazing FRI-YAY!! Make sure to check back tomorrow for my Instagram round up and weekend sales!! I’ll be sharing all my looks + swim suits from Arizona!
All my love!
Xx,
You spend your entire life taking and posting hundreds and hundreds of (the same posed) pictures of yourself, writing about yourself, waiting for the adulation for yourself, and promote a book about having nothing to prove? Keep digging in the Bible and hopefully you will get some clarity someday.
I appreciate your opinion. But it’s exactly things like this…that I don’t have to prove myself to anyone, even people who have opinions such as your own. Thank you for the feedback though. And if following me is such a bother for you, please do just unfollow!

Truthfully it doesn’t. It’s not even something I want to read. Every person has their own opinions. And what I actually find interesting is how much of your time you dedicate to obsessing over tearing bloggers or just myself down. It actually doesn’t affect you whatsoever and is a waste of energy. Maybe spend more time reading things you enjoy instead of drowning your time with things that seem to upset you so much. Reading my blog is obviously not something you enjoy, so don’t. Simple as that.
