Can you believe it’s already March? Every time I write the date or look at the calendar I just cannot wrap my head around how fast 2018 is going by. I’m fine with winter going by fast but can time please slow down a little when summer comes? 😂 I want to get to enjoy it and soak up all the moments and sunshine!
Today I am rounding up my top 10 picks for spring break…but really just my summer must haves! Everything from my favorite suits to self tanners that I’m using. These next couple of months are my favorites and it’s time we all buy some pieces now that we know we will use a million times til Fall! Here are my faves:
One (Quay Sunglasses) // I bought these a couple months ago because I have been eyeing them FOREVER. I wear them all the time and every time I do I get about a million (exaggerating of course) DMs asking for the link! They are such a statement with the ‘black fade to clear’ coloring, yet your standard aviator style so they aren’t too far our of your comfort zone.
Two (Leith Body Con Dress) // This was the ‘it dress’ last year and it’s popularity is not slowing down. With 5+ colors to chose from an the most flattering fit, it’s a must for your summer wardrobe. I got it in black this year and in the coral cedar heather color! I absolutely love it. It is the most comfortable dress I now own & easily the most versatile.
Three (Dr Dennis Gross Facial Tanning Wipes) // These are the new self tanner wipes that I am using for my face! They are so easy to apply and the solution is not going to clog your pores, cause you to break out, or any of those negative side effects that can come with using self tanner on your face. The color is fairly pigmented at first, but I actually prefer that because in my head then it takes longer to fade off! (Not sure how accurate that is but that’s my mindset!)
Four (Free People Dress) // Oh my goodness is this at the top of my list of things I need to buy or what?! I saw this dress first styled by one of my favorite bloggers on Instagram (see the post here) and have been obsessed ever since. I do think this is something I’m going to buy, like today, to have for the summer. I can see myself casually wearing it to a bbq with flip flops or even out on a date night. It is SO cute!
Five (Tote Bag) // You’ve probably seen these woven style bags all over now that the sun is peeping out in certain places. They are a huge bag trend this year and being that it is a ‘trend’ – it’s not something that I would personally splurge on, but of course want to be a part of it. This one is under $50 and a perfect size that you can actually hold stuff in and is not solely for show. It’s also small enough that you can easily bring it anywhere. This would be perfect for a day on the boat, vacation, or even a night out with your girls wearing your new sun dress.
Six (St Tropez Tanning Mousse) // This is the self tanner that I have been using for my body. It applies beautifully and doesn’t leave streaks! I have been so happy with it and don’t forget to grab a mitt for application if you don’t already have one! The coloring of this formula is a beautiful bronze and not orange!
Seven (Black One Piece) // For those of you who LOVE one piece suits and those of you who are scared to start rocking them, this is for all of you. This one piece is one of the most flattering ones I’ve seen! The simplicity speaks volumes here. Not sold yet? It’s only $75!! That is INSANE for a quality one piece!! Many of my favorites I’ve seen are $200+ so this deal is out of this world!!
Eight (Tularosa Two Piece Top and Bottoms) // I bought this suit last year in black and it is DARLING! I’m obsessing over this yellow color and there is a huge change this will be another purchase of mine. There is so much detail in this suit, yet at the same time it is the perfect amount and not overwhelming.
Nine (Espadrille Wedge Sandal) // These shoes are the ‘it shoe’ this year for sure. The styling is endless as you can wear them with dresses, denim, or even cut off shorts. They come in tons of colors, the one shown is my favorite but they are all gorg! They will be such a darling add on to any outfit I love seeing these styled!!
Ten (Swim Suit Cover-Up) // Every year when summer rolls around, it calls for a new coverup to add to your collection. This one is my favorite for this year! It comes in both white and black and I love the lace and how it ties at the waist! (I think I kinda rhymed there lol) Anyways, it’s only $60 and something you will get so much use out of on the hot days coming your way. ☀
