I FINALLY got myself a bar cart and this is an item I have been searching for for about 2 years! I haven’t been able to find one that matches our style AND is in our budget – it’s been quite the struggle. We wanted black, (or close to black), and every one we found was $400+…until I stumbled across this one on eBay!
What I love about the bar cart trend in homes is that you can really style your cart HOWEVER you’d like. They serve so many purposes! My initial thought when ordering my cart was to make it a cute rosè theme, but once I got it I decided to go the coffee route, (thanks to my adorable friend, Sabrina, and her bar cart inspo!).
I really look forward to playing around with my cart and giving it different themes through different seasons and events in our life. Here are a few tips and ideas for yours:
- Your favorite cocktail! Are you a moscow mule lover or more of a margarita girl? For your mules, grab some copper cups, faux (or real!) limes in a bowl, and some bottles of your vodka of choice. And for your margs you could also do limes or other citrus like a grapefruit, with some mixing juices, fun glasses, and favorite tequila bottles.
- A coffee cart! This is what I did here. I grabbed a coffee maker, my canister of coffee cups and tea, mugs, and a cup of straws. I decided to ‘style’ the bottom, rather than keep the theme going since I didn’t have more coffee things to add!
- All decor! Grab your faux plants, candles, coffee table books, letter boards, etc. and go crazy! Bar carts make for an adorable piece, even if solely decoration. Styling tip: do a mix of different colors, heights, and textures! This goes with styling other things like tables and shelves too! Different heights for sure go a long way!
Like I mentioned above, I found my cart at eBay and they are currently having an end of season sale with tons of home and garden discounted!!
