Although summer is by far my favorite season – fall is my favorite when it comes to outfits and fashion. I love the layering and different types of looks you can put together, rather than just dresses and rompers every day. So any guesses on today’s chat? Fall fashion of course!! Rather than being focused on the bold trends that we may be seeing in the magazines although aren’t sure we’d wear in our daily life, I’m going to be talking about the simple ones that you will. So here we go!
Black & White – I have been seeing so much black and white color blocked and patterned pieces lately and I do have to admit that I went through a stage of strongly disliking these colors together. But I have officially changed my mind!! If you’ve been following along on Instagram lately, you’ve seen a few looks and also some polka dot pieces that are all black & white! The heavy contrast is chic and a fun ‘everyday’ trend that I’ve been noticing lately!
Monochrome – This isn’t shown here but I have been LOVING monochromatic looks lately. In case you aren’t familiar, basically you choose a tone and stick with it throughout your entire outfit. So you are actually doing this already when you wear all black which I know a lot of you probably do! My favorite tones for this look though personally are olive green, blush, camel, and white! (Those also happen to be my favorite colors for this upcoming season too!)
Animal Print – I’m sure a lot of you are noticing all the snake skin and leopard print that’s been popping up everywhere…well grab yourself a few pieces! If you don’t want to be too bold purchasing a dress or pants that are printed, you can grab smaller items like shoes or a belt!
Pops of Color – I have been doing this lately with some of my handbags! So I was so excited when I started working with STORE 5a and was able to style this pink one. So perfect for my pop! And who wouldn’t want to style an Hermes Evelyne?!
