Well…I’m sure that by now all of you know that Al and I are expecting our first baby Lang!! We found out in the middle of the night…at about 12:30am and the next day I knew I had to tell our immediate family – I could’t keep it in! I’m so thankful that my husband supports and deals with my eagerness 😉 Our best friends found out they were pregnant actually on the same exact day we found out but last year, and they got everyone’s reactions on video! I always thought that was so special to have and to be able to look back on so since seeing their videos I always knew I wanted to do the same when we got pregnant!
We told our parents, the siblings that live either at home or in the same town as us, our best friends who are like family, and our cousins who also are built in besties. Our original plan was to tell everyone in the same night, but as you can imagine we ended up chatting and celebrating at each house a little longer than we anticipated, so we had to tell a few of the last people the next day. These two days filled our hearts with SO much joy. Getting to pray with them for our baby, tell the story of finding out, and just have that immeasurable support and encouragement from the people we love is the best feeling. It makes me emotional watching these videos and knowing how loved our baby was from the day they implanted in my belly. I can’t wait to watch all these people love on baby Lang in a few months ❤️
